00 Position Details 1.
Perform all duties in the best interest of students and in support of the district's mission.
2.
Perform basic level building maintenance, repair and or installation work in the following areas:
carpentry, glazing, locksmithing, roofing, HVAC, plumbing.
3.
Maintains the physical facilities of the district by performing a variety of general upkeep and repair including but not limited to:
replacing lighting, ceiling and floor tile replacement, furniture repair, roof and drain repair, service lock and hardware devices, welding, locker repair and wall repair including patching and painting.
4.
Preventative maintenance and care of power hand tools.
5.
Preventative maintenance of HVAC and plumbing including but not limited to:
HVAC system, belt replacement and adjustments, lubrication, filter change and cleaning, repair and replacement of flush valves, toilets, faucets, sewer pumps, drain clearing and snaking, 6.
Preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical including, repairs and replacements of light fixtures, electrical outlets and electrical motors, ovens, ice makers and food line carts.
7.
Outdoor Facility Maintenance including but not limited to:
mowing, edging, raking, weeding, pruning, leaf removal, concrete work, grading, asphalt repairs, playground repairs and drainage and irrigation system repairs, snow and ice removal, sports field stripping, field preparation maintenance and repair.
8.
Responsible for general ground cleanup including the removal of rubbish and debris from campus.
9.
Responsible for managing inventory and submitting requests for supplies 10.
Respond to facility emergencies during working and non working hours if necessary.
11.
Maintain effective working relationships with all members of the district and community.
12.
Complies with all Board of Education Policies and Procedures.
13.
All other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
